An exterior chandelier commissioned by the Rothschild Foundation as the entrance to a winter light trail, this piece was created in collaboration with five hundred children. A custom pergola was created from which to suspend five hundred individual fibre optic cables, the ends of which were finished with a single crystal glass bead and a laser cut oak leaf form. The names and hopes for the future of each child were engraved by hand onto each leaf, with the text highlighted by the pop of light from each individual crystal orb. The chandelier was created to symbolise hope, and the potential of the next generation working together to achieve positive change.
