With a dining space which flows from inside to out, the client's wish was to bring subtle elements of the exterior lighting into the interior space. Utilising the same hand spun brass dishes as the exterior fittings, a set of table top lighting and candle wall sconces was created, allowing the use of living flames alongside the warmth of the spun brass.

The candle sconce holds a single flame, perfectly centred on the curves of the dish, at the tip of a hand formed stem.

The bowl cradles a single flame at the base of the brass dish, which itself sits perfectly into a hand turned Ash bowl, concealing the reservoir of fuel below.

 Using only bio lamp oil to power the flames, both the sconce and candle bowl emit a beautiful ambient light which is amplified by the optics of the dish, while keeping the environmental impact to a minimum.
