Commissioned for a property with limited architectural lighting control, these lamps were designed to offer  the client flexibility in the light levels and control over the atmosphere created in each room. Material choices were informed by the clients love of the English countryside and passion for sailing. A solid oak base supports an elegant steel  and glass framework, encasing  a single Squirrel cage bulb. These bulbs themselves were historically used as ships navigation lights due to the expanse of  the filament structure; which is beautifully highlighted by the inbuilt touch sensitive dimming facility.
